USB Flash Drive in LEGO BrickBrick Flash Drive

USB Flash drive in LEGO© brick

If you have been scouting around ebay, you would have noticed that there are other people selling similar products like mine. The difference is  that most, if not all of them are cast from plastic into the flash drive form. Those are not original LEGO® bricks. Those infringe on the trademark of LEGO®.

It’s cheaper and faster to cast the bricks for the flash drives, but do note that it’s illegal. When you buy from them, you are short-changing LEGO®. Imagine a childhood without LEGO® bricks.

I found that I did not phrase some of my words in this blog correctly, and the Legal Analyst from LEGO® group took the time and effort to go through with me on the problem areas.

Basically we should only use the word “LEGO®” as an adjective, as in LEGO® bricks or LEGO® icecube tray. Secondly, I need a “® ” to indicate that LEGO® is trademarked.  I mistakenly used a “©” in two places which is for copy right. Just these two points, it’s that simple really.

Anyway, don’t buy pirated products. Get the real stuff.
